There can be multiple programs running and displayed in parallel.

Intel showed off a laptop computer with four monitors at the company’s Developer Forum in San Francisco this week.

Below the conventional LCD are three smaller OLED screens located above the keyboard.

The idea is that multiple applications to run simultaneously on each screen.

The idea for the “Keys Bay” was born after a study showed that computer users sometimes run up to 30 different programs simultaneously. Then it can be difficult to keep track of them and switch between programs, writes PC World.
Examples of programs that fit to appear on the smaller screens is instant messaging, email, weather info, calculator, music player and social websites.

Prototype which Intel demonstrated is equipped with an Intel Core 2 CPU and integrated Intel graphics. A few more details about the hardware did not reveal the company, according to PC World.
