The site Your Laptop Club managed to get a samsung NC10 (imported from Korea), and shares with us his impressions in a test. Verdict of testers in the following section,
To begin, recall the features of the Samsung NC10:
10 inch Screen
Intel Atom 1.6GHz
1 GB of Ram
6-cell battery (7 hours of autonomy announced)
Windows XP
3 USB 2.0
VGA port and Ethernet port
Microphone and headphone jack
1 memory card 3 in 1
Bluetooth 2.0
Express Card Interface
Webcam 1.3 million pixels
Resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels
Hard Drive 120 GB
WiFi 802.11b / g
In terms of design, NC10 appears more professional than other 10-inch netbooks like the MSI Wind or the Asus eeepc 1000H. It is true that the closer the NC10 is really attractive both aesthetic and technical level.

At the technical level, the system (Windows XP) and the machine work very well. You’ll have no problem to watch movies or to use IP telephony.

Note also the inclusion of the Samsung Recovery Solution III, enabling the System Restore and that is very practical and easy to use.

Moreover, autonomy, over 7 hours, is very high for a netbook. Samsung is the first manufacturer who actually understood that the autonomy was essential to use a netbook.

We will therefore that the primary qualities of this ultra portable is its long battery life (7:34 with wifi on and brightness at 50%), its large keypad, good overall system performance, space worth its hard drive, fast ( start in 45 seconds) and price (less than 400 euros in France).
