Good overall performance are issued by the PC with Core i5-2410M Sandy Bridge, but also to 4 GB of RAM. Moreover, a slot is free, it is possible to add another strip of 4 GB DDR3 to move to 8 GB of RAM to be more comfortable in a while, a good way to make it evolve.

The graphics card is in hand behind. This is the Radeon HD6490M, recent model that lets you play worry-free HD video as side games, one must be content with such titles resource-efficient 3D.

For the rest, there is a 15.6-inch glossy 16:9 with a resolution of 1366 × 768 and a proper connection with HDMI, VGA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, but also four USB 2.0 ports while most of 15.6 has only 3 inches and 2 headphone outputs, rather rare. However, some may regret the lack of USB 3.0.

If the appearance of this laptop is original, its weight is not really attractive because at almost 3.0 kg it is clearly positioned among the heaviest of 15 inches.

We can now obtain the HP for less than 650 euros here in Surcouf . This is one of the few notebooks in its class to receive a storage also important.

However, it is pleasantly surprised by the viewing angles, and its offer audio quality slightly above average.

Its design is very elegant with its wide screen and its aluminum hull engraved as robust as beautiful to watch. The integrated equipment is rising to the height of aesthetics. This makes the HP Envy 17, a powerful 3D gaming laptop, but aimed at a lover of video games or multimedia rather fortunate. But if you’re willing to pay the sum of 1799 euros, you can boast a beautiful machine.
A Full HD 3D
To make the most of 3D images, it is better to have a comfortable screen size. This will be the case with the HP Envy 17 which includes a glossy screen with a diagonal of 17.3 inches with full HD resolution or 1920 x 1080 pixels. To obtain 3D images, HP uses stereoscopy and you should therefore put on the glasses sold with the device to enjoy it. The relief effect achieved is truly striking. The only minor drawback is the fact that HP has opted for ATI’s 3D technology rather than the Nvidia 3D Vision and that it is less widely supported by current games. The sounds nicely highlight these stereoscopic images through the integration of 2 speakers HP Beats Audio supplemented by a subwoofer.
Up to 2 TB of memory

Next processor, the HP Envy Notebook 17 is driven by a swift and powerful Intel Core i7-720QM 1.6 GHz along with 6 GB of DDR3 RAM and hard disk capacity can reach more than comfortable space of 1 to further extendable to 2 TB graphic part is assigned to an ATI Mobility Radeon HD5850 with 1GB of GDDR5 memory. What really enjoy multimedia services satisfactory both in the field of play or just watch films and video. By operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium.
Autonomy rather weak

On a high-end laptop, it is reasonable to expect all that is needed to ensure the greatest possible flexibility for communication and exchange. HP Envy 17 fulfills its mission quite well with network compatibility Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi a / b / g / n and Bluetooth. Its connection is also complete with the presence HDMI, Display Port and mini-VGA, 2 USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.0 port, a card reader 5 in 1 and a webcam. Note also the presence of a player / Blu-ray. Autonomy may be the only black point of this laptop high-end 3D. It should not exceed 3 hours. So if you have 1799 euros to spend on a laptop, the HP Envy 17 truly represents an interesting model.

The latter, through its brand Beats wanted to create a machine that meets the needs of anyone create and listen to music on the move and are not satisfied with the current integrated chip-sets for PCs.

Its glossy finish at both the chassis and the touchpad and keyboard at first, but seduces shows conclusively fingerprints.
The keyboard makes writing fun. The storage space is valuable and connector complete.

The screen displays vivid colors and brightness and contrast means but is subject to glare.

The audio is good with a nice volume and bass present.
It is heard in full load.

Side graphics, it gets a rating of 4135 points in 3DMark06 and 3DMark 1298 Vantage points, enough to play games not too greedy. Under recent titles like FPS and racing game, we must adapt the level of detail and resolution so that games of strategy and / or multi-player going well in native resolution.

Its range is good. It is 3:05 in a row playing a video with maximum brightness and Wi-Fi enabled. It is rated 5 / 5 and is labeled Choice 01Net.

The HP Pavilion dv8-1190ef is equipped with an Intel chipset HM55, a Core i7-720QM (1.6 GHz, 6MB cache), 4GB DDR3 1333 MHz RAM (8GB max), of 2 SATA drives of 500 GB at 7200 rpm, a graphic card Geforce GT 230M 1GB Dedicated 2.8 GB TurboCache, screen 18.4”WUXGA LED Ultra BrightView Infinity Full HD resolution of 1920 by 1080 , a webcam with microphone, Blu-Ray/graveur DVD combo drive, a card reader 5 in 1, a keypad, a 2.1 audio system Altec Lansing with Dolby Home Theater and Port Wi-Fi a / g / n, Bluetooth, HDMI, VGA, Firewire, ExpressCard54, Infrared, Headphones (x2) Microphone, Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0 (x4 combo with 1 e-SATA).

Guaranteed 1 year, it runs under Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with a Li-ion 4 cells, Weighs 4.06 kg and measuring 436 x 286 x 33.7-43.7 mm.

The design does not evolve and thus found a dark Espresso finish decorated with clear reasons curves on the hull and the wrist rests giving it an original look while remaining sober. The connector is positioned on the sides, in large part on the left. The touchpad on the eccentric left has a scroll zone and two buttons separated from each other not to mention a hold button.

Available for less than 1400 euros here at Fnac or here at Rue du Commerce, the HP Pavilion dv8-1190ef is positioned in the middle of its class.

This is a multimedia-oriented model with its Blu-Ray to enjoy media on the High Definition Full HD 16:9 screens, its audio system with subwoofer to immerse you in the atmosphere and that its space of storage of 1000 GB with two hard drives fast.

The Core i7 is also well suited to this type of use, it is much more efficient than the Quad Core generation. At ease in all situations or near it unveils its full potential in applications taking advantage of multi-heart as in the last drafts of Adobe Photoshop (photo) and Premiere (video).

The RAM is fully supported by the 64-bit system and the connection is provided.
We regret that the battery does not show a greater capacity, 4 cells are really just a PC of this type.

As for the dedicated graphics card, it will play tracks not too resource intensive 3D. Lower levels of detail and / or resolution will be needed in some games. In this regard, we may regret that HP has not resolved to integrate a graphics card belonging to the new 300 series Geforce or Radeon Mobility HD5000.

In order to keep up to pace, HP (Hewlett Packard) has recently announced two new ultra-thin models with the intent to keep the whole machine lighter and less bulky while still Maintaining a relatively large display screen with diagonal size of 13.3-inch for users with mobility and visual great experience. Named as Probook 5310m, it is claimed to be the world’s thinnest notebook full performance in current market.

With the thickness measurement of 0.93-inch merely, it is slightly thinner than Apple’s Macbook Air measured at 0.94-inch. Apparently, HP is striving hard to shrink its form factor to achieve such thickness and weighted at only 3.8-pound, it offers professional business executive or an ultra light but yet powerful mobile computing solution while on the move. Besides, there are two versions available with drop-in replaceable SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) and users can choose either a full speed 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo processor for high performance or opt for a 1.2GHz Celeron CULVER based duo-core version that can handle normal office processing with prolong battery life. Surprisingly, the latter version is claimed to be able to supply power continuous current up to 7 hours of battery life with only 4-cell battery pack.

HP ProBook and is available now at a retail price of $ 699 and $ 899 for duo-core Celeron and Core 2 Duo version respectively, they are quite affordable even for average users and will definitely help to boost HP’s market share in this competitive segment.
