Built around a Core i5-2410M Sandy Bridge and 4 GB of RAM, it delivers overall performance can satisfy most users, including multitasking. In addition, it is possible to add an array of 4 GB of RAM for example, to change significantly for the immediate or some time.

No hard disk drive swift to 7200 rev / min to enhance the responsiveness of the system but a couple of models at 5400 rev / min, which offers a large total storage capacity of 1000 GB in order to keep many files on the PC.

Nvidia Optimus technology is present, both sides are operated graphics: Intel GMA 3000 HD integrated into Sandy Bridge processor and Geforce GT 540M. Optimus favors running the Intel GMA 3000 HD because it uses less energy resulting in longer battery life. This technology is estimated in real time the needs of PC graphics and tilt as needed on the Geforce GT 540M to provide more performance, to seek again the Intel GMA 3000 HD as soon as possible.

The Geforce GT 540M graphics card is a mid-range that can play many games as long as one accepts to adjust the levels of detail and resolution of the slab under the securities most resource intensive 3D.

In this area, the classical definition of the 16:9 screen is brilliant because it allows an asset to make less concessions than if we had to deal with the Full HD. Connectivity for its part should satisfy the most potential users with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, VGA, audio ports, Ethernet and 4 USB to connect multiple devices simultaneously. If one connects a USB 3.0 port on the laptop’s USB 3.0, file transfers while running 10 times faster than USB 2.0.

Come with useful accessories, and because of its weight and dimensions, this notebook is a better companion than sedentary nomad.

The graphic part is assigned to both the Intel GMA 3000 HD integrated processor and dedicated card Geforce GT 520M, both of which are operated by Optimus technology. By default, the laptop runs on the Intel GMA 3000 HD is less energy and promotes better battery life. Moreover, the autonomy announced 10 hours of this laptop is very valuable as his finesse and weight content well below the 2.0 kg which makes it portable and usable for long hours away from a decision current.

In fact, Optimus automatically switches in real time between the Intel GMA 3000 HD and Geforce GT 520M according to the tasks performed by the user. If both are able to read without regard to HD video, the GeForce 520M GT is the most efficient. However, users should be content to entry-level services in graphics, especially in games where only few titles may go hungry.

The screen adopts a predictable format 16:9 and a resolution of 1366 × 768 and a priori treatment brighter, less suitable than the mat on a PC that is intended to be used in bright environments where reflections are present on a glossy unlike a slab mate.

The connection is rather significant with embedded Wi-Fi, HDMI, VGA, audio ports, Ethernet and USB 3 with a USB 3.0 to take advantage of file transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 with USB 3.0.

Configuration with a relatively homogeneous, the Asus U36SD-RX153V will seduce those looking for a compact portable portable for everyday use.

This model embeds the Geforce GT 540M that can play many titles as long as we accept to make concessions in the most resource-intensive 3D. Of course, HD video playback does not pose any concern to the dedicated graphics card, the graphics or Intel GMA 3000 HD integrated processor Sandy Bridge.

In fact, the laptop works by default on Intel GMA 3000 HD to provide the best possible independence through technology Optimus switch as needed between it and the Geforce GT 540M, the latter being preferred when a need for increased performance is arises, if a game is launched, for example.

The connection is correct with Wi-Fi, HDMI, VGA and four USB 2.0, which is also the case for the 500 GB disk space to store lots of files while the screen is standard with the 16 / 9th, resolution of 1600 x 900 glossy and its treatment.

Finally, the Pentium Dual Core B940 and 4 GB of RAM deliver satisfactory performance in current use. Multitasking and far-fetched. Moreover, its size and weight make it a more sedentary mobile PC and the accessories available are useful. Note also that it is possible to add a second RAM module to go through to 8 GB DDR3 example, which may be of interest to lovers of scalability.

If you accidentally brushes the touchpad when typing, Palm Proof technology prevents the cursor is activated. Power4Gear automatically adjusts it the fan speed to provide the quietest operation possible through technology IceCool the wrist maintains a comfortable temperature.

And that’s not all. Those who make regular media work as photo editing, video editing or 3D rendering have this laptop with a Quad Core processor speed ideal for treatments in these areas compared to a Dual Core processor. Coupled with 4 GB of RAM, the Sandy Bridge CPU Core i7-2630QM also delivers a solid performance in all situations or almost.

The good news does not stop in so good way since a swift drive to 7200 rev / min is integrated to further improve system responsiveness. In addition, it offers a space of 1000 GB in order to store many files. One of its peculiarities is to be a 3.5 inch unit usually devoted to desktop PCs. Hence its thickness. But due to its size, weight and size, this PC is ready for any more to use sedentary nomad.

The graphics it is entrusted to a dedicated Nvidia card last generation, the Geforce GT 540M. Video playback 1080p poses no concern and decreasing the screen resolution and / or levels of details, many games will pass.

Finally side connections, most potential users should find it satisfactory. Are indeed part of a module Wi-Fi, VGA video output and HDMI 1.4 (able to channel the flow 3D), audio ports and four USB ports, enough to connect multiple devices simultaneously. A USB is a USB 3.0 more precisely: if a USB 3.0 device is plugged in, then turn out transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0.

Asus has indeed had the foresight to offer this model a pair of storage consisting of a 160 GB SSD and a mechanical hard drive of 500 GB The first has the advantage of being silent, energy efficient and be very fast, useful to install the system and software to take advantage of high reactivity. The second provides a more storage space to store important files and documents. For now, the mystery about his speed but in view of the price and positioning of the PC, it must be a model at 7200 rev / min.

Responsiveness provided by the SSD is a definite asset but could not much if the rest did not follow. Fortunately, here the rest of the configuration is up with a large amount of RAM, 8 GB and a Quad Core processor, the Core i7-Sandy Bridge 2630QM. In other words, the vast majority of users get is a power greater than their needs – so come see what – and multimedia enthusiasts can take advantage of faster treatment in the areas of video editing, photo editing or rendering 3D example.

They will be most delighted to find a Blu-Ray to take advantage of these media in high definition via HDMI on a 1080p TV for example, or directly on the PC with Full HD screen with 16 / 9th is particularly suitable for video playback as well as treatment that enhances colors bright but appears prone to glare in return. Indeed, some lament that probably does not have a treatment mat.

This notebook belonging to the series of Asus Republic of Gamers, the graphics obviously has not been neglected and we find one of the cards and mobile dedicated the most powerful moment, the GeForce GTX 560M in order to engage adequately the latest games and greedy of time without (too) sacrificing the level of detail. For recall, the definition most of the screen, the higher is the GPU to perform calculations in games.

A backlit keyboard is also the program to distinguish the keys in the dark like a proper connection with the notable presence of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, HDMI video output and VGA as well as 4 USB ports including a USB 3.0 for file transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 devices with USB 3.0. Damage, however, that the trademark has been silent on the e-SATA and ExpressCard.

It has a relatively homogeneous configuration with more traditional elements as a bright 17.3 inch display with a resolution of 1600 × 900 which adopts a 16:9 format well suited to playing videos or connectivity including HDMI, VGA , Wi-Fi n and 4 USB 2.0 but no USB 3.0.

The hard drive on the other hand offers good storage space of 500 GB and its weight and size make it a better companion than sedentary nomad.

This laptop embarks interesting elements as a Core i5-2410M Sandy Bridge, which coupled with 4 GB of RAM deliver performance to satisfy even the most potential users. And if after a while you want to give him a boost, it is possible to add a second memory card 4 GB.

And that’s not all because this PC has two parts graphics technology used by Optimus. So it works by default on Intel GMA 3000 HD integrated processor Sandy Bridge, a graphical low-energy, which then leads to greater autonomy. Optimus constantly analyzes needs graphics and it considers the performance of the Intel GMA 3000 HD insufficient to meet at some point the tasks performed by the user, it requests automatically and in real time the dedicated graphics card Geforce GT 540M to switch back to the Intel GMA 3000 HD as soon as possible.

If these two graphics solutions enable you to read without difficulty HD video, the GeForce 540M GT is more efficient, especially in games, an area where it shows itself capable of running a lot of titles as long as you adjust the levels of detail and resolution of the screen under the most demanding 3D resources.

The Asus X73SV-TY088V may therefore attract those looking for a portable multi-purpose large-format offering good general services including games and this at a price under control.

The hard drive that offers a beautiful space of 750 GB storage further strengthens the overall system responsiveness. It is indeed swift as it works to 7200 rev / min against 5400 r / min usually.
This trio RAM, CPU and hard shoulder much dedicated graphics card Geforce GTX 460M that manages to run recent games including the most resource-intensive 3D and especially since the screen displays the classic features.

However, it is a shame that the trademark has not chosen to offer this model to a newer DirectX 11 GPU as the GeForce GTX 560M or 570M. In addition, some lament no doubt that the definition of the screen is not more important, for example 1600 × 900, which is a good compromise between the 1366 × 768 and HD, especially the integrated optical drive does not support Blu-Ray.

Good in all cases assigned to the keyboard whose keys can be backlit in order to distinguish them in the dark. Connectivity for its part should satisfy a lot of potential users with HDMI, VGA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, audio ports as well as 3 USB: one of them is a USB 3.0 and if a USB device 3.0 is connected, file transfers are then made up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0.

The Asus Lamborghini VX7-SX020V currently appears less than 1300 euros here in Surcouf in limited quantities. It does not position among the most attractive models in its class but is distinguished by an original design, the price for the logo display Lamborghini.

The Asus X53SV-SX212V may suit those looking for a versatile laptop with good overall performance.

In this area as well as multitasking, it delivers the benefits that can satisfy a majority of users thanks to its 4 GB of RAM and Intel Core i5-2410M Sandy Bridge.

It is also possible to store many files on the hard drive with a beautiful capacity of 750 GB, while the connector and the screen are more traditional.

There are in fact modules Wireless N Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, three USB 2.0, audio ports, and HDMI and VGA video outputs as well as the Ethernet, but USB 3.0 and e-SATA are not the part that probably missed some.

The screen takes him a 16:9 format well suited to playing videos all his brilliant treatment enhances colors but proved prone to glare, and a resolution of 1366 × 768.

To better meet the needs of each, the laptops for gamers and multimedia fans Asus G73SW is available in several configurations. The difference among versions is mostly at the RAM capacity can varies from 4 to 8 GB and the hard drive that can reach 640 or even 750 GB and 1 or 1.2 TB for users The most intensive storage space. All configurations are animated by the same processor, a swift and powerful Intel Core i7-2630QM clocked at 2.2 GHz. As an operating system, Windows 7 is found in Home Premium.
Technology Optimus
For gaming and multimedia, a good graphics card is important. For his Asus laptop G73SW therefore opted for a very powerful card, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 460M with 1.5 MB of dedicated memory. But in order not to over burden the autonomy of his laptop, Asus has provided the technology that enables Optimus automatically alternating with a less powerful graphics card and less greedy, the Intel GMA 3000 HD, according to the task. To get the best graphics performance of the Asus G73SW, its screen of 17.3 inch Full HD will do wonders. To compliment the multimedia equipment, we can still mention a Blu-ray.

Wireless N, HDMI 1.4 and USB 3.0
A laptop rather unmarked as the Asus G73SW must offer all the best current connections. This is exactly the case here with compatibility with Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi b / g / n and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR. The connection is no less generous with the presence of a HDMI 1.4 and a VGA video port, 3 USB 2.0 ports, complimented by a USB 3.0 port as well as headphone and microphone jack. There is also a 2 mega pixel webcam and a card reader 3 in 1.

The result was the most potent mini-notebook yet, capable of playing HD content and mainstream games, as well as editing video. There was just one problem: short battery life. Now Asus has answered the call for more endurance with its 1201PN ($499), which kicks that desktop part to the curb in favor of a power-sipping, single-core N450 CPU. Problem solved, right? Not exactly. While this netbook lasts longer on a charge and has even more graphics oomph, its overall performance falls short of its predecessor, not to mention a new crop of low-cost AMD ultraportables. So does the 1201PN offer a good enough balance of multimedia muscle and battery life for your money?

The Asus-UL80VT WX046V is a laptop on the Intel platform CULV wearing a size 14-inch displays at least 800 euros with a Core 2 Duo, Nvidia dedicated graphics card and an 8-cell battery.

It features technology that allows GraphiX Boost manually switch between the dedicated graphics card for better performance and integrated graphics chipset for increased autonomy.

Turbo33 technology is also part and combines the hardware and software to deliver performance above normal (about 33%), for example read fluidly HD video.

Express Gate, the mini-light system based on Linux is also installed. With it, you can access in seconds to surf the Internet, check your e-mails, etc..

Designed plastic, it features a silver brushed metal finish on the inside or outside that gives it an elegant and sober.

The power connector, an air vent, VGA, HDMI, 2 USB and audio ports are positioned on the left while the optical drive, card reader, USB and Ethernet are present right.

Chiclet style keyboard has flat black matte keys well spaced from each other. Very well integrated palm rest, touchpad has a multi-touch surface spikes and a button bar chrome.

Its technologies and Turbo33 Graphi-X Boost uplifts are more clearly because they act both on performance and self positively.

The 8-cell battery should give it considerable autonomy while her weight is quite content for a 14-inch laptop.

The storage space of 500GB is comfortable and the proper connections with HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3 USB but not e-SATA to the program as many phones CULV.

The 4 GB of RAM fully supported by the OS and 64-bit Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 ensure a relatively comfortable working in office automation and multitasking. It should be borne in mind that little hungry applications are run simultaneously if we do not want to suffer jerks and long load times.

Unsurprisingly, the screen is positioned in the average with a standard resolution, a bright and Treatment 16:9 formats particularly well suited to playing videos.

As for the dedicated graphics card Geforce 210M G entry level, it can play HD video games and run some resource intensive 3D by adapting the level of details, see the resolution depending on the title.

Asus puts the dishes in the large (or vice versa!) Proposed here and its bestseller, the UL30, with the new NVIDIA Geforce 310M alongside Intel’s integrated chipset. On his new series, Asus has thus automating the management of energy. That is, when the machine is not requested, the processor will reduce its maximum frequency, and the display will be managed by the integrated Intel chipset. Once the need for felt power (Games, HD video), the processor increases the frequency and the display switches to the dedicated NVIDIA card to ensure the fluidity of the whole.

The rest of the configuration remains the same (as it is the same chassis), then loads the UL30JT an Intel i7 640UM or 620UM depending on configurations, up to 4 GB of DDR3 (1066 MHz), a graphics card NVIDIA Geforce 310M with 1 GB of dedicated memory (a GMA + HD), a 13.3-inch LED screen in 1366 x 768, HDMI port, VGA, 3 x USB, Ethernet port, an SD Card slot, WiFi b / g / n and Bluetooth. The storage will be provided by a disk of 640 GB

Regarding autonomy, Asus announced and introduced the 12 model with 8-cell battery of 5400mAh, without specifying whether this is the final battery. A priori, two batteries will be offered on the weight to 1.4 kg for 4 cells and 1.7 kg for the 8 cells.

At the CES 2010, Asus has introduced a change in its series UL80 with a very interesting option: the system will automatically switch between integrated graphics and dedicated card. So certainly they are not the first for Sony unsheathed first with the Vaio Z, but it is a very interesting evolution over the series UL80VT or switch is manual.

We still lack information about the configuration details. It is certain that today will carry an ULV Core i7 (probably the i7-620UM) and NVIDIA GeForce 310M in parallel with an Intel GMA chipset. The rest of the configuration, based on a chassis UL80 should embark classics HDMI, VGA, 3xUSB Microphone, Headset, Ethernet and an SD card slot.

Asus is also vague on over clocking the processor. Indeed, the new Core i7 has the abilities over clocker automatically as needed (or reduce their consumption at maximum), it does not know if the Turbo 33 will feature the game. The big change compared to the previous generation remains the automation of power management. When the machine is not requested, the processor will reduce its maximum frequency, and the display will be managed by the integrated Intel chipset. Once the need for felt power (Games, HD video), the processor increases the frequency and the display switches to the dedicated NVIDIA card.

With this technique, Asus announces 12h maximum autonomy (in power saving mode), and the possibility of parallel power play (albeit by making concessions).

Little aside on this model and automatic failover announced. We sincerely hope that efforts have been made to ensure smoother operation and no longer hold to software problems. Indeed today, the series UL80VT, it is impossible to switch from one card to another if some common applications (Live Messenger, Steam …) are launched … There are more practical.

This UL80JT we expect a lot should reveal a bit more in the days and weeks ahead we will keep you informed of his arrival on the market.

The latter feature is its unusual design, in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen, known for his expertise and love of innovation Hifi.

Mixture of aluminum on the outside and matte black inside, the lines of NX90 not leave anyone indifferent.
Some love and others detest.

The design of the screen is not unlike that of a TV. The speakers on either side of the deck enjoy a bigger size – four to five times by Asus – than other phones on the market. The sound rendering should be particularly careful, the NX90 also have an amplifier designed exclusively to accommodate the constraints of restitution of a laptop.

Another feature of NX90 its dual touchpad located on both sides of the keyboard, novel systems to date. The question is whether the efficiency is really improved compared to a conventional touchpad. A video is available at Engadget, but it does not really realize the grip available.

But design is not the only benefit of this notebook outside standard. The configuration is also up to the expectations of demanding users with an Intel Core i7 processor, graphics card NVIDIA Geforce GT 335M, Up to 1.28 TB of disk space or a Blu-Ray to enjoy High Definition on the slab 18.4 inch Full HD. The NX90 is also equipped with USB ports 3.

The price has not been disclosed, but it’s a safe bet that it will be like the other products of the B & O.

Available in France from today, this netbook loads more news like a new keyboard strangely like those developed by Apple, the new Intel Atom N280 (the successor to the N270), the new chipset and a battery GN40 high performance for a range of theoretical 9.30 (Super Hybrid Engine technology to optimize its consumption).
The remaining characteristics similar in all respects to those of the Eeepc 1000H, 10.2 inch screen, the hard disk of 160 GB, gigabytes of RAM, webcam 1.3 million pixels and the wireless N will therefore be well Part. The embedded operating system is Windows XP Home, i.e. the same OS as the Eeepc 1000H.

The ability to decode the HD is also more than what has netbook.
6 colors are available and the price varies between 380 and 400 euros.
