It appears that the now famous 11 inches is the limit that manufacturers have been imposed to distinguish a laptop a netbook, there are 12-inch laptops but not least, and netbooks have already reached the limit: 11 inches.

Conclusions apart, Acer already have 11-inch model, namely 11.6 inch (hurry the limit of 11, almost reaching the figure banned: 12).
It’s been so long since we discussed the first model of netbook from Acer, the 8.9 inch hard disk mechanic and since then the market has evolved significantly, netbook models have come in spurts, and Acer would not be less, in fact soon will beat the record for most number of netbook models in the market, which so far holds, as no, Asus.
To which we, the new 751 is powered by an Intel Atom Z520 with US15W Express chipset (which they say allows hardware decoding some video codec.), 2 Gigs of RAM (DDR2 667/800 MHz SDRAM) and integrated graphics . Its LED-Backlight screen is 11.6 and has a nice resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.
It is also endowed with Acer CrystalEye webcam, a brand new card reader, integrated 5.1 sound card and as they say in South America about Dolby speakers to listen to music and watch movies. The keyboard size is included; say normal in terms of dimensions, so the comfort is guaranteed.
As regards connectivity the Aspire One is equipped with 751 Wifi (802.11b / g), Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR as an option includes a modem UMTS / HSDPA / EDGE. Not bad at the small, good and not so small.
It also has 3 USB ports, VGA, Ethernet and sound output.
Another item to mention is served with battery cells 3 or 6, I guess with the substantial price increase.
It will be available in 4 different colors. In terms of price, will cost the equivalent to 518 dollars and is now available for sale in UK in May.
Personally I think its 11.6 inch screen and the keyboard size makes it the perfect portable on ergonomics. Would not surprise me that more than one use this as a main computer, you buy a 21 inch screen, good keyboard + USB mouse and turn it into dinner when you have to work at home, the only bad thing is the power, we must try.

Often at the forefront of innovation, Acer was able to present today the first netbook with the Android software layer.
Better: the Acer Aspire One D250 offers a dual operating system with default Android but a click, it goes under Windows 7. In reality, the computer restarts to load the OS from Microsoft. The return is not as obvious for having hands in minutes.
The Acer Aspire One D250 is only 18 seconds to power under Android. Thus, the simplest applications are readily available. Here, there is no question of the Android Market. It is therefore not possible to download new applications. Acer Ferra, however, evolve the product over time by offering customized software.

Acer One Netbook the D250 has a screen of 10.1 inch LED backlit display at 1024 × 600 pixels. It proposes a multi-touch keypad, an Intel Atom N270 or N280, a graphic chip Intel, 2 GB of RAM, hard disk of 160 GB or 250, a memory card reader, speakers, a webcam, the Wi-Fi b / g, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and battery cells 3 or 6 depending on configurations. With the latter, Acer announced a range of almost 6 hours.

A version with the 3G could emerge quickly.
The Acer Aspire One netbook D250 weighs just over a pound and measuring 25 cm wide.

It comes in four colors: blue sapphire, pearl white, red rubies and black diamonds. It will soon be available from 250 euros.

The Aspire One is an 8.9″ netbook with an Intel Atom N270 processor and GMA950 integrated graphics just like every other netbook out there. With identical hardware, you would assume to get roughly the same performance out of it, and you would assume correctly.
Features

There is still a measure of variation between different netbooks and brands, most notably the appearance, but quality aspects are naturally also important, as well as connectivity, hard drive, RAM and battery size.

Regarding the last item in the list, we managed to find the desirable and elusive model with the 6-cell battery, which offered 5 hours and 40 minutes of battery life with wireless on and backlight set to 75%. It wouldn’t be unreasonable to assume that the 3-cell, which is more common, would yield about half of that.
Big for a Netbook

Of course, getting the larger battery also means sacrificing some portability. The Aspire One is actually a bit large already (as far as netbooks go), and the 6-cell battery increases the weight to roughly 2.5 pounds. Another minor annoyance with the Acer is the relatively wide and thick bezel that makes it even slightly larger than some 10-inch netbooks.

That annoyingly large LCD bezel is unfortunately not the only letdown as far as the screen is concerned. Its viewing angles are also very poor – colors start shifting as soon as you’re not exactly in front of the screen.
Bottom Line

You also get varying amounts of RAM and hard drive (or SSD) space depending on which version you get. The Aspire One is available with both flash memory-based Solid State Drives in smaller sizes and regular notebook hard drives. Our review model had 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive – both quite generous for a netbook. In most aspects, you actually get a lot of “bang for the buck” with the Aspire One.

On the whole it’s a reasonably well-rounded netbook that – like most netbooks – offer few surprises. Considering what you have to pay for it, it’s hard not to recommend this netbook in spite of a few flaws.
